About

Izabella Petrut

Artist and designer, Izabella Petrut explores art, mostly through the medium of jewelry, often blurring the lines between wearability and pure artistic expression. Her creations draw inspiration from personal experiences, existential concerns, and reflections on the nature of jewelry, its intrinsic value, and its relationship with time.

Challenging the conventional norms of size, materiality, and aesthetics inherent in traditional jewelry, she embarks on a quest for expanded jewelry as an artistic means of creation.

In her wearable jewelry pieces, Petrut rejects the standardised trends prevalent in commercial jewelry, and embraces individuality and craftsmanship, handcrafting each piece to evoke a sense of uniqueness and connection between wearer and maker.

With a dual focus on artistic exploration and craftsmanship, she enjoys the process of material experimentation and conceptual reflection. Each creation is imbued with the spontaneity of the moment, reflecting the Petrut’s ongoing quest to redefine the boundaries of jewelry as both an art form and a means of personal expression.
