Anarkik3D Ltd is a spin-out from 6 years research and proof of concept projects at Edinburgh College of Art and University of Edinburgh, investigating virtual 3D touch (haptics) as a better user interface for working and modelling in 3D.
The founders are a Designer-Maker/Applied Artist and a Computer Scientist.
Anarkik3DDesign is an intuitive, haptic 3D modelling software designed specifically for artists and designers. Unlike other 3D modelling tools, it uses haptic feedback to provide a tactile experience, making the modeling process more natural and accessible, even for those without extensive technical skills.
This workshop is ideal for jewelry designers, studio artists, applied artists, designer makers, ceramic artists, sculptors, and anyone interested in exploring 3D modelling. It is perfect for both beginners and experienced artists looking to incorporate digital design into their creative process.
No, laptops with the Anarkik3DDesign software and haptic mouse will be provided for use during the workshop. You just need to bring your creativity and enthusiasm!
You will learn the basics of navigating and using Anarkik3DDesign software, from creating simple 3D shapes to advanced modelling techniques. The workshop will cover brainstorming, preliminary shape development, and finalising designs for 3D printing, VR, or AR.
Yes, the early bird registration fee of € 340 is available until July 31st. After that, the regular fee of € 390 applies. We recommend registering as soon as possible as spaces are limited. There is a maximum of 10 participants per workshop.

The workshop fee includes all training sessions, use of laptops with the Anarkik3DDesign software and haptic mouse, printed handouts, and a delicious vegetarian lunch on Saturday.

You can register by clicking the “Register for the Workshop” button on this page, or by emailing vundv@aon.at or contact@izabellapetrut.com. To secure your spot, you will need to pay half of the participation fee as a deposit.
Cancellations can only be accepted in writing, per email at vundv@aon.at or contact@izabellapetrut.com. Cancellations can be made up to 30 days before the start of the event free of charge. For cancellations received less than 30 days before the start of the event, a cancellation fee of 50% of the participation fee will be charged. From the start of the event, the complete participation fee will be payable upon non-attendance. The designation of a substitute participant is possible at any time free of charge.
